How To Use APPS via eMail

This service is compatible with the legacy AG service, but offers more options.
- Address your email to appsrequest @ gdgps.net
- The Subject has one mandatory and two optional fields, separated by space.
In Field #1, specify the processing type: "static" or "kinematic"
In Field #2, optionally specify your UserID. A UserID is required for "kinematic" processing
For Free positioning, only Field #1 is neccessary. For example,
- Subject: static
For additional processing modes*:
- Subject: static Seper454
- Subject: kinematic Seper454
- Place your files on an anonymous FTP server, and provide the URL of each file on separate lines in the body of the email
Example:
- ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/gps/data/daily/2008/186/08d/nril1860.08d.Z static
- ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/gps/data/daily/2008/186/08d/nril1860.08d.Z static Seper454
- ftp://cddis.gsfc.nasa.gov/pub/gps/data/daily/2008/186/08d/nril1860.08d.Z kinematic Seper454 interval=1 elevation=5
The instructions given in the body after the ftp URL supersedes instructions given in the subject line.
After the files have been processed, you will receive an eMail with the APPS products attached.
